Full refunds are available if cancelled at least 2 weeks prior to requested start date. A 50% refund is available if cancelling between 1 and 2 weeks of start date. 99.9% uptime is guaranteed per server and 100% uptime to at least one server is guaranteed for customers leasing a multiple server configuration. A full refund is also provided if more than 0.1% downtime is experienced on a server during the customer lease period or a customer experiences any period of time for which no server is available when leasing a configuration with 2 or more servers.
1 week leases are for a 6 day duration only. Monthly leases run for 30 and ½ days. Start dates are not guaranteed. In the event a desired start date cannot be accommodated, we will contact you within 48 hours by Email to propose alternative start dates and you can respond to us by phone or Email. If we are unable to accommodate an acceptable start date, you will receive a full refund.
The host servers may occasionally need to be rebooted for patches and upgrades. In the event a host server must be shut down and rebooted, customer virtual machines are migrated to another hosting server without loss of data and no significant downtime (less than a few seconds). In the event of an unplanned outage where a hosting server unexpectedly fails, the customer virtual machine will be failed over to another hosting server, but there is a possibility for loss of data in that circumstance unless the customer has configured high availability with multiple servers (see data preservation).
We assume no responsibility for data loss for any reason including those resulting from outages on the hosting servers and do not provide backup capabilities. Data redundancy is the responsibility of the customer and only available if the user selects a multiple server configuration and configures the data storage to be redundant on at least two of their servers. Authentic Intelligence does not provide virtual SAN or Backup capabilities. Such capabilities must be implemented by the customer if data redundancy is required.
